frozen pumpkin dog treats in dog bone

Ingredients: 3
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook (freeze) time: 2 hours

Ever take your pup out for their morning or evening business and have your mood and day ruined by an explosion of dog diarrhea that you know you’re going to have to worry and deal with for the next few days? Yea, I’ve been there.

When both of our dogs were puppies, we regularly gave them pumpkin and plain greek yogurt when they started having loose stool, but some dogs can be picky about eating these mixed into their food.

This simple, 3-ingredient recipe and super easy to make and is packed with probiotics and fiber to have your pup feeling better in no time. When one of the dogs starts to show signs of an upset stomach, I make a batch of these treats and give them about 2-3 per day until gone.

They're great as a normal treat too, especially when the weather is warm! You can even add any of your pup’s favorite fruits or veggies to the mix.

Make sure to bookmark this recipe for future use!

  • 1x 15 oz can of 100% pumpkin puree

  • 2x 5 oz (individual-sized) plain, non-fat Greek yogurt

*Make sure your peanut butter does not include Xylitol or Birch Sugar – which are toxic to dogs

2. Taste test for quality control purposes only – let your pup have a lick.

3. Pour Mixture into ice trays & freeze for 2-3 hours, until solid.

Store in freezer.

*Fun Ice Molds not required but 10/10 are more fun!
